Ordained

Remember Chris the DJ on Northern Exposure?  He answered an ad in Rolling Stone to be ordained.  I just did an impulsive thing.  I filled out a form and now I'm ordained by the Universal Life Church.  Where the two tenets of faith is to promote the freedom of religion and to do that which is right.

Lent - A Different Perspective

It's Lent.  Again.  Last year I gave up Puritan Work Ethic.  I didn't do so good.  I might as well as given up Diet Coke.  It was just that hard.  Being idle for me is like holding my breath.

This year I'm going to try again.  But I'm going to go about it a little differently.  I'm going to try to have a Quiet Mind.  My mind is always talking to me.  It won't let me sleep.  It won't let me do one thing at a time.  It's always chattering away like a hyper monkey.  It's not saying mean things anymore.  Thank God.  It's not barking or roaring. It could be worse.

Sucky blogger

I just realized why I'm a sucky blogger.  I'm ADHD when it comes to interests.  I don't have a single focused cause or hobby.  I'm all over the place.

Some days I'm interested in conspiracy theories, other days it's quilting.  I have enough beads to start a bead store but I'm not making jewelry right now.

Right now, I'm just hanging out and enjoying life.
